LET'S FUNDRAISE!
Make a Difference in a Kids Life!
You can donate to send a kid to The Salvation Army Camp Mt. Crags and Camp Gilmore! The purpose of the camp is to serve low-income children (ages 7 – 14) and has been providing a life changing summer camp experience for over 1,800 children every summer since 1935. The camp helps these children with physical and social needs. The children develop good health habits in regards to cleanliness, proper rest, balanced diet, exercise and care of the body. The aim is to help them make their own right decisions, stimulate creativity, and foster independence.

How To Fundraise
As an individual or team, set a fundraising goal – we suggest $330, which is the cost for sending one child to camp. Then, ask friends, family, and co-workers to donate toward your fundraising goal.
Fundraising tools are available on Active.com that allows you to email friends and family asking them to donate toward your fundraising goal. Simply follow the link, click on "Become A Fundraiser" at the top, and follow the prompts.
If internet fundraising is not for you, please download our Pledge Form to sign up sponsors in person. Want to double your donation to The Salvation Army? Ask if your company has a matching gift program.
Please mail Pledge Forms with collected donations (checks only) by September 14, 2012 to:

| Pitch
in and help put on a GREAT event!
Volunteers are integral and crucial elements in making
our events viable. Volunteer tasks include, among others:
providing water and food, keeping runners on course,
cheering runners on, keeping spirits up and making the
race safer for everyone! We guarantee a great time and
the time spent will be worthwhile.
You don't have to be a runner to volunteer
at the event. If you have simple words of encouragement
and are able to help direct runners or hand out water,
you are valuable to us!
In exchange you'll get goodies (T-Shirts/Goody Bag/Swag)
and refreshments, and more importantly, you will be
rewarded with the pride in knowing you helped to make
the event happen, and that everyone finished because
of the help you offered.
If you'd like to volunteer or need more information,
please contact us at 310.821.7898 or send an email to
info@genericevents.com! |
