| It’s the start of something
special on the Miracle Mile. The Farmers Market and
The Grove are honored to host the inaugural Miracle
Mile 5k Run/Walk on January 20, 2008.
This scenic course travels throughout the Miracle Mile before a spectacular
finish back at The Grove! Whether you’re a collegiate
sprinter, a new mom, or just looking for a new challenge,
this event is for you!

Pre-registration is now closed. You can register at the Nike Store in The Grove on Saturday, January 19, from 2-4pm or on race morning starting @ 6:45am!

CATEGORIES
Which catagory are you in?
We're offering different categories for all type of
runners. Choose between Age Group, Team Competition
(made up of 3 runners), and the Baby Jogger Division
(bring out your baby and spend the day with other parents).
There is no minimum age for the babies (but doctors
recommend waiting to run until they can hold their head
up).
All categories take off @ 8:00am
PACKET PICK UP
There will be optional packet pick up at Nikewomen on Saturday, January 19 from 2pm - 4pm. Nikewomen is at The Grove which is located at: 189 The Grove Drive Los Angeles, CA 90036
RACE DAY REGISTRATION
There will be race day registration at the Race
Start on Race Day. Race day registration with close
15 minutes before the start of the race.

T-SHIRTS / AWARDS &
CATEGORIES
Every Participant gets a high quality cotton
T-Shirt. Awards will be given to the top 3 in each age
group at the event.
HEALTH & FITNESS EXPO
Come to The Grove at Farmers Market and check out the
latest running gear (shoes and apparel), nutrition advice,
great food as well as some other great vendors. The
expo will be open from 9am – 11am.

DIRECTIONS & PARKING
All of the race festivities take place at The Farmers
Market at the Grove, located at 6333 W. 3rd St. Los
Angeles, CA 90036, (the northeast corner of Fairfax
and 3rd St). From the 10, exit Fairfax and drive North
4 miles. After you pass 3rd St., take a right into the
mall for free parking! NOTE: You must enter off of Fairfax the other entrances into the mall will be CLOSED before and during the event! Athletes must park on levels 6 & 7. Parking is good for all day!

VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are integral and crucial elements in making
our events viable. Volunteer tasks include, among others:
providing aid, water and food, keeping runners on course,
cheering runners on and keeping spirits up. They are
also there to have fun and enjoy the experience of the
race from a different perspective. And most importantly,
they make the race safer for everyone involved!
You’ve probably seen and thanked many volunteers
at past events, but what better way to say thanks and
give back than to be a volunteer yourself? After your
experience, you will appreciate the volunteers at future
events that much more!
In exchange you’ll get a goody bag and refreshments
but, more importantly, you will be rewarded with the
pride in knowing you helped to make the event happen,
and that many runners finished because of the help you
offered.
