We’re excited to share that Los Muertos 5K has once again been recognized in USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards, earning the No. 4 spot on the 2026 list of Best 5K Races in the U.S.

Each year, USA TODAY 10BEST editors and a panel of running experts select standout races from across the country, then invite readers to vote for their favorites. Being named among the top 10 again is a meaningful honor, and we’re grateful to the runners, walkers, families, volunteers, partners, and supporters who make Los Muertos 5K such a special Los Angeles tradition.

The race returns to Historic Olvera Street on Saturday, October 31, 2026, bringing together a scenic 5K run/walk, music along the course, and a post-race Dia de los Muertos celebration.
